Today I've been made Admin of a facebook group, alongside soem other lovely people too, don't want to sound like I'm in charge! The idea is to raise funds to get 9 dogs over from Romania-who have been saved from the hell that is the public shelters. For those that don't know, Romanian dogs are treated apallingly in Romania, neglected, abandoned, and then caught by Dog-catchers who are the equivilant of "Bounty Hunters". Dogs are starved, thrown in together-big with small, sick and injured with aggresive and starving-and alaughtered indiscriminately-not cleanly put to sleep by injection, beaten, throats slit, eloctrocuted are all known methods of slaughter.
